At the end of last year, my friend Riddle asked me and a few lovely ladies to participate in a bit of a epic cosplay experiment. She had the amazing idea to gather the unusually large number of veteran Atlanta cosplayers together for a ‘Vanity Fair” style shoot in a non-convention atmosphere. No small feat since most of us have super busy schedules and travel quite extensively. But, she did it, and this is the amazing outcome of her brain-child. Enjoy!

“The 7 Sins of Cosplay”
Idleambition (Trap) is usually thought of a man impersonating a female character in costume, “He would still be hotter then you.”
Riddle – (Binge and Purge). Was brought over from the modeling world to the cosplay world in the early 90’s, so that cosplayers could indulge in geek cuisine without having to exercising to fit into costumes.
Yaya – (Back Stabber) It’s considered the original and most serious of the 7 deadly sins.
Alisa Chan – (Cry Baby) Feelings of hopelessness, despondency, and impending doom, “fucking 4chan.”
Miracole – (Ageism) It’s rumored that only cosplayers lie about their age. “She’s shouldn’t be allowed to cosplay, she is over 21”
Cathy & Meredith – (Rivalry) This in its purest form, presents with self-destructiveness, violence, and hate that may provoke online posts that can go on for centuries.
